Made using a combination of RISO and letterpress printing, the photos are transformed into screen-prints, challenging the boundaries of traditional photography.

Elisa H. Castillo (b. 1990) is a Chilean artist based in Oslo. Working with analog experimental techniques, Castillo explores the concept of memory and its plasticity. Currently, her work focuses on combining photography, drawing and self publishing, researching on how memories and perception are affected by mental illness. Encompassing the tangible and intangible effects of angst, the artist aims to illustrate symptoms such as temporary memory loss, distorted sensory experiences and the impairment of positive remembrance.
