This piece completes in the the middle of the two worlds, a work developed in the framework of FIRST PLACE IN THE TABLE? where we propose a reflection on the art system, making an analogy between the exhibition and the football match.

Trough a system of relations that we set in the geographic of the exhibition, we explored some coordinates that organize our practice and allow us to situate and move between them.

here we share a glossary, that in our own worlds, define our perception of the artistic field and our experience in it.

In a collective exercise we added the views of our exhibition colleagues: artists, curators and Trafo workers, who intervened the graphic with some movements or play that identifies them within the field of play that we suggested or shared some reflections by email.

Bobrikova & de Carmen

Martinka Bobrikova and Oscar de Carmen have been an artist duo since 2005. The artists create works in public space based around the idea of an open interaction with the environment, installations, sound and site-specific works, they set up meeting platforms. Throughout their artistic careers, they have taken on a wide range of roles, including those of artists, cultural operators, curators, and educators. Art and creativity are used by the duo to activate cultural dynamics that facilitate and/or combine education, communication, and urban and social transformation processes, both inside and outside of galleries, and beyond the framework of institutional dialogue.
