The monograph Comfort & Relief is both a documentation of Stian and Lutz' work spanning 20 years, an investigation of different forms of interventions in public spaces, and a self-reflexive exploration of collaboration as structure and experience, and how these interact. This includes a transcript of a three hour-long couples therapy L+S attended with psychoanalyst and curator Sinziana Ravini in Paris in 2024. The book is designed by Ris Pascoe (Leipzig) and edited by Ragnhild Aamås.
ÅAAÅ Books is an artist-run, independent platform for publishing and distributing books by, for, and about art and artists. Founded in 2020 in Oslo by Ragnhild Aamås and Stian Ådlandsvik, we aim to explore publishing as an artistic practice and a space for dialogue and exchange.
