Publication combining isolated and fragmented gameplay footage from the video game Time Crisis 4 with algorithmically sourced and restructured passages from Marcel Proust’s In Search of Lost Time. The passages were selected in dialogue with the narrative of the video game, which repeats the three commands Action, Wait and Continue to the player throughout gameplay.

Our title, TEXST, embodies our approach – testing text-based work in any and all forms.
